Holy crap, I'm feeling old! Berenstain Bears?!?! Superfudge!?! Time to do some Googling and relive my childhood...
Which ones on the list, or not, were your favorites??
Which ones on the list, or not, were your favorites??
Oh, the memories! I love so many of these books. Thanks for sharing! :D
ReplyDeleteCharlotte's Web and Bunnicula were two of my childhood favorites. And although I wasn't introduced to Frog and Toad until I became an adult, I love that series. And, though I was never a reader of the Goosebumps series, I think Say Cheese and Die is such a great title.
ReplyDelete@Cary I do too!! Makes me want to start rereading a lot of them...maybe I'll make a children's books list for next year.
ReplyDelete@Charley Charlotte's web was one of my favorites as well. But, I've read almost every Goosebumps book ever. SUCH a great series!
it bothers me that Go Ask Alice is on there. Maybe it's just the book that bothers me, the whole presenting-it-as-real crap. When I read that, I thought it was a real diary, but later I was told the truth. Grr.
ReplyDeleteBut other than that, great stuff on the list!! :)
I love The Little Prince!
ReplyDelete@Amanda You know, I can't remember if I read that book but I'm pretty sure I remember having that same issue with it as a kid....I'll have to Google to refresh my memory
ReplyDelete@Babycakes omgosh so do we!!
I can't believe The Berenstein Bears were so predominant on that list. I had no idea they were so popular!
ReplyDeleteI loved Mercer Mayer books and I love reading them to my kids. The illustrations crack me up! I love Charlotte's web too! I can't wait for my kids to read it. They've seen the movie, but reading it is so much better.
