New year, new post!

Happy blogiversary dear maraduersssssss. Happy blogiversary to us!!

Hey there fellow marauders. Padfoot an Prongs here bringing you the very first post of the new year!!
It also happens to be the very first post since the official '1 year mark' since we made our blog. We CANNOT believe that we have had our beloved blog for one entire year. That is exactly 350 days longer than we expected it to last. We just wanted to say thank you to all of those who have been with us from the beggining, middle, and those who will continue to read us in the future. 2010 promises to be the year of the 'marauders' and we will be stepping up alot with our blog, business, and books!!

We know much has happened over the past couple weeks (feed burner over load, no postings, general lack to communication) that we are not even going to try and pretend like we can catch up. Instead we are just pulling the old 'rebel card' chalking our laziness up to Christmas endued food comas, and starting the new year fresh!!

And of course with a new year comes new resolutions, and we here at GBI have made a few of our own! Our resolutions this year are both blog and literary related and we thought we would share a few with you (so in case we start to fail you can feel free to kick us you know where).

Blog Resolutions
- post at least THREE TIMES A WEEK. That is right THREE. Even if it is just a post saying we are to lazy to make real posts.
- spend at least a half an hour a day commenting and catching up with our favorite bloggers! We love to read every thing you all write we just never seem to have the time to keep up with them all!
- Diversify posts / authors that we review. We are sure you all get tired of us gushing about our certain favorite authors, so this year we promise to try and branch out a bit.
- more GIVEAWAYS!!! That's right folks in the up coming months we hope to be having giveaways out the ying yang since we are so dedicated to giving back to all of our loyal LOYAL readers. Keep an eye out for special chances to pick up some GBI swag as well as some other random things.
- Finally we resolve to just be better bloggers in general. That means more frequant posts, tweets, updates and general communication.

We appreciate those of you who check back frequantly only to be dissapointed when another week goes by with out a post. In the up coming year we hope that you never will be saddened again over staring at the same posts for weeks.

Don't forget for those of you who have contests or giveaways coming up this year that P&P are still offering up items to use as prizes free of charge!!
