Happy End of the World Day!

Hey Marauders. Padfoot and Prongs here, blogging live from the 'rapture'... nothing of interest to report yet, but we will keep you updated.
To celebrate the end of the world we are spending the day working on the HP re-read we are doing since the final movie is right around the corner.
This got us thinking, for those of you who even half heartedly kept a watchful eye on the news today, if you believed the end of the world was impending,
what would be the last book you would pick up to read?
Would it be an old favorite, something new and exciting? Or would you just start throwing out those hail marys fast and furious? We want to hear your thoughts!!

Clearly we have no other desire than to spend our last precious memories with Harry and all our old friends, but that shouldn't suprise any one.

  1. I think that would have to be my choice, too! Just finished my own re-read and it was so nice to experience it all again. I've read them so many times, I can't even count, but it's been a while.

  2. Glad to see another HP choice!! I actually was asked recently how many times I had read the series, and I def. think it varies by book. I'd say the first 3 at least 10 times, but oddly enough I have only read Deathly Hallows once!! And that was the day it came out! Looking forward to re-reading them all!

  3. I love this question! I didn't even think about it! I ended up reading Voyage of the Dawn Treader but not in a doomsday sense, just because I felt like reading it because I love it. If I were really choosing a Last Book it'd probably be Angels in America, a good apocalypse read.
