Tattoo Tuesday: Readers Response!

Hey there Marauders!! It's our favorite time of the week once again!!
For those of you who are new to the site here's a bit of background. Tattoo Tuesday was started by our good friend Tara over at 25HourBooks and celebrates our love of literature plus the people like us who are obsessed enough to ink something literary on their body! Every week we feature a literary tattoo that interests or compels us. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ink.

This weeks tattoo comes from one of our very favorite followers, Gabby.

"There's just so muc
h I want to forget, Dan. I thought I was going to be a READ ONLY file. I never thought I'd be... interactive." I said "Don't worry about it, Karla. Because in the end, we forget everything, anyway. We're human; we're amnesia machines." - Douglas Coupland, Microserfs

Here is what she had to say about her brand new ink:
"In short, I've always been fascinated with memory and how it works, and that line sums it all up; it reminds us of our smallness while ascertaining the fact that we don't really matter, in the end. It's a reminder, to me, to stop taking things so seriously. But most of all, it sounds (and looks) effing cool. "

We love her interpretation of the quote and the reasoning behind it!! We want to thank Gabby so much for sharing her beautiful new piece with us and look forward to hearing what you all think.

Next week we will have yet another piece from one of our very own followers so be sure to check back in for that. Remember, if you have a literary tattoo of your own we would love to see it! Just e-mail a photo along with a brief description of why you chose it to:

  1. Thanks ladies! You are the sweetest.

I hope school/real life is going well :)

  2. Hey you two,

Thought you might find the following link interesting. A new Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library has opened in my home town and they've posted a bunch of Vonnegut-related tattoo pictures...

  3. Could you please tell me the font of the "Mischief Managed" above?

You solemnly swear you are up to no good...
