He died years ago and so it is hard as he isn't here and his last brother died last month so nobody left to ask questions of. But the stories of his growing up, shining shoes to help support his family of 11 kids when he was just 13, helping Lucky Luciano (I see you reading THE BOOK! The Godfather!) to place bets at the horse track--my dad would just take Lucky's money and go down and place the bet and then get a nice tip if he won. And finally to see how this scamp of a young man was able to get my classy, church going, close knit family mom to fall for him and get married. I just think that would be amazing to live in that time and see what their lives were really like now that they are both gone and I am left to wonder!

Well, that's my entries--I guess it counts for 4..and not to influence you, I promise, but I nominated you guys for the BBAW Best Collaborative Blog...you guys rock!Bingohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18183152217815178286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7199256706975499037.post-37647228525587367482009-08-03T21:05:46.137-04:002009-08-03T21:05:46.137-04:00I follow your blog!gypsiesthread@yahoo.comI follow your blog!

gypsiesthread@yahoo.comGypsiesThreadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09411150855078470887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7199256706975499037.post-24420215838461019262009-08-03T07:40:46.172-04:002009-08-03T07:40:46.172-04:00I'd love to join the contest! :)I'm a foll...I'd love to join the contest! :)

I'm a follower.

I commented here http://goodbooksinc.blogspot.com/2009/04/prongs-7th-review-pride-and-prejudice.html?showComment=1249299216648#c7460546687348798755

I followed you on twitter (issalovesedward)

If I could time travel, I'd go back to all my funny and clumsy moments and have a good laugh (since I was probably too humiliated to do so at the time.
