Hmm, I probably should reread them. :p And you're so right, her works are so much more than your average love stories; full of wit and humor, guaranteed to provide you lots of fun along the read! :)chocowaferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00049534818209320151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7199256706975499037.post-8648539153713566992009-04-20T19:42:00.000-04:002009-04-20T19:42:00.000-04:00Loved this review! : )

I think P&P is one of those novels that's virtually written to be re-read. And I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of P&P&Z!J.S. I first read it when I was 14 years old and immediately fell in love with Jane Austen's novels. I immediately threw myself into Emma, Sense and Sensibility, Mansfield Park, Persuasion. I always came back to Elizabeth and Darcy though. Even though I have read the novel too many times I've lost track, I still get heated and worked up reading Elizabeth's rejection of Darcy.

This novel is so precious to me, I can't bring myself to love any of the film versions. No one will be good enough to play Elizabeth and no one will be handsome or cool enough to play Darcy.

Now you've inspired me to read it again. I'll take it on the plane with me. :)stillthinkinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00319335306715676399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7199256706975499037.post-40005916609091405832009-04-13T22:50:00.000-04:002009-04-13T22:50:00.000-04:00I truly loved this particular edition of P&P. ...I truly loved this particular edition of P&P.
