I'd love to revisit it again as like you I felt like I rushed through some of it in anticipation/impatience. I hope you'll read more Atwood. This is my favorite but Robber Bride and Cat's Eye were both good in their own right--of course The Handmaid's Tale, too.Trishhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17225576485797030511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7199256706975499037.post-74059026580146287492011-01-16T05:55:17.677-05:002011-01-16T05:55:17.677-05:00I, sadly, remain among those who are "embarra...I, sadly, remain among those who are "embarrasses to never have read anything" by Atwood. It might not be everyones cup of tea, but if you watch it and can keep up with the 3 rotating story lines... chances are you will do great with Atwood! Keep us updated if you get to her!Padfoot and Prongs - Good Books Inc.http://www.blogger.com/profile/09436410858315526506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7199256706975499037.post-67346748681859232902011-01-15T02:36:14.022-05:002011-01-15T02:36:14.022-05:00Great review. Personally, I finding her intimidating (I cower at any mention of the word metafiction). :)Darlyn (Your Move, Dickens)http://www.blogger.com/profile/00979296421309409564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7199256706975499037.post-62676287315168410062011-01-14T22:29:13.476-05:002011-01-14T22:29:13.476-05:00@Jenny - Glad to hear this review might have some ...@Jenny - Glad to hear this review might have some how convinced you to pick up Atwood again!! It def was a struggle at first, but I think the pay off was really worth it. I just loved the '3rd layer' of the actual story of 'The Blind Assassin' so much that it made everything else worth it!Padfoot and Prongs - Good Books Inc.http://www.blogger.com/profile/09436410858315526506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7199256706975499037.post-14722046038592034312011-01-14T12:03:46.209-05:002011-01-14T12:03:46.209-05:00I really really hope I like this one!I really really hope I like this one!Amandahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07026099426503180472noreply@blogger.com
